If she complained the the company about the moldy apartment and they did nothing, then they have no case against her. If she didn't report it or they are trying to rectify the problem, then they do.

I'm on her side. Horizon has taken the tweet worldwide themselves with this lawsuit. Only 20 people followed this girl in the first place, now we all know about it.

Well, they will have to prove that it is not true and there were damages (like they lost sales or leases because of it) just like with any libel suit.

Very bad move by the company.

The twitterers/tweeters may strongly support their fellow twitterer and be mad at the company which may be viewed as having interfered with the sanctity of twittering in the tweet sanctuary.

There may be no end to derogatory tweet opinions of the company, and is the company really going to try to tweet back to all of that?

i dont use twitter, but i do have an account. i just searched her username on twitter and everyone is reposting the same phrase she is saying.

"You should just come anyway. Who said sleeping in a moldy apartament was bad for you? Horizon Realty thinks it's okay. REPOST THIS"

as did i. they going to sue all of us too? badddd move horizon. maybe you should just stop selling moldy houses?

p.r. nightmare from an incident that would have largely gone unnoticed.

Even if they won the suit (which would be highly unlikely and scary to boot) recovering from the outlash that will no doubt occur will take a LONG time to overcome
