Just came home from my first day.
I'm a senior so everyone knew what to do, it was nothing new.
I am just so excited, because my sophomore year I made a list of all the teachers I want to have at least once in my life- and this year, I have EVERY SINGLE teacher that I hoped for. Pure luck! I have the greatest schedule ever, and I'm totally excited.
(...yes, I'm a dork.)

i just got home. my teachers were great. i hate my math teacher though. overall, it wasn't such a bad day.
I just got home from school. My homeroom/global teacher is an evil bitch who doesn't care about anything except herself. My math teacher rocks (only 3 people in my math class), my science teacher is cool, and my english teacher is crazy.
Yea, it was an okay first day.
I wish I could go back to college.

Each grade has orientation on different dates, for school mass and schedules.
The seniors already knew the drill...so we were finished at 11:00, if I'm not mistaken.
Full-fledged school starts tomorrow.
Hey kids ...don't complain too loud...how would you like a choice of nuns, who either 1. looked like Idina...naturally 2. fell asleep during Latin class or 3. Picked her nose! Had all three..back in the day.
Seriously... become a sponge..learn what you will need now! Cause when you're finished, you're on your own.
Don't worry - I'm um...well... let's just say I'm out of college...just barely of course... and I am still wondering what I might be when I grow up!
Try this...grab the yellow pages...close your eyes...open the book and point to an occupation. Try it for one year...if it doesn't work out, repeat the process.
PB, that's what I did, but I still have 9 months to go here at the sanitation department before I get to pick again.

It went well--3 people in your math class? That's insanity! The least people in a class of mine is 19.

My school doesn't even offer latin--it's french italian or spanish.
Oh, that sucks. What grade are you in?

I have AP Calculus this year, and of course the teacher is, well, not good. He's one of the ones that sits there with his arms crossed and talks until your brain rots. I have one of those expensive graphic calculaters, called a TI-84. I was having a problem with it, and asked him for help. He said, "What brand do you have?" I said I had a TI-84. He says, "Oh, I never touched one of those before." Snickers from the class...and then he never helps me out in the end, so I'm still stuck. He should know what the heck a "TI-84" is, he told us to get the TI-83 - mine was just a little bit more updated!
My teachers suck.
My classmates suck.
This year is going to suck.
And you know, it's a good thing that I'm optimistic, because I don't think I could make it through the school year without a positive attitude.
