Fernwood 2Nite/America 2Nite (not sure if it would be considered a flop, though...there were two seasons). TVShowsOnDVD.com is reporting that Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman might be released, so maybe there’s hope for Fernwood.

"The Mothers-In-Law" with Kaye Ballard and Eve Arden. I remember seeing reruns of it in the 70s when I was a kid and haven't seen it since.

If they can release "Tabitha" on DVD, why not Kaye Ballard and Eve Arden who were very funny, as I recall. (Okay, it's a hazy recollection, at best.)



Hey! How about "Bridgit Loves Bernie?" A dear old family friend of ours (and former Dolly Levi) played Bernie's mom: Bibi Osterwald. IMDb.com says this show is the highest rated series (ranked #5) to be cancelled during it's first season on the air. Too much controversy and hate mail was the reason.

How about "It's About Time"
I think I was 5 or 6 when I saw this series , so I don't rememeber much about it. It was a comedy about two astronauts who go back in time. Imogene Coca starred.
Anybody else rember this?

Teachers. It ran a few episodes this past season and I never missed. I really liked it, I'm not sure why it flopped so bad. It was pretty funny.

Here's a small list of shows cancelled after one episode - maybe they could combine ALL of them to a 2 or 3 disc compilation :) It also includes some shows that were cancelled before they aired. It could be Worst of TV II or something like that.....

I remember "It's About Time". Of course I was only an infant at the time but the theme song has remained with me all of these years just like "Gilligan", "My Mother, The Car", "The Brady Bunch", "Car 54 Where Are You?" and "The Facts of Life".

Car 54 was out on VHS for awhile

It ran 2 years but has almost 70 episodes. I hope it will make it as it was very funny

I loved "Car 54", especially Leo and Sylvia ("Grandpa Munster" and "Mrs. G"). They were a riot as was Lucille.

Mr. Midwest - I was going to say PASADENA, as well! I think they filmed 13 episodes, so they could at least release those. I got hooked, and then they just left it all hanging!
