Flying On Stage

It's so much fun! I got to do it in a ballet.

Of course Peter Pan most often comes to mind when one tinks of flying on stage.

What other stage productions have flying?
Have you flown?

There's a certain show in London right now that features a fair amount of aerial work. Anyone want to guess what it is? re: Flying On Stage
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

:) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I'll just write down the initials of the title (MP), wear a huge grin thinking about it, and soon be wearing my Mary Poppins T-shirts, sent from London to me by a very special person!

Oppps! I said it!

re: Flying On Stage

WITCHES OF EASTWICK flew the three leading ladies up to the balcony. I could only watch and be glad it wasn't me as I'm scared of heights. I flew on a TV show when I was a kid and kept my eyes closed for the whole time. OH! I forgot! A while back I did a TV commercial as a superhero...Captain Anticol (it's a cough lozenge)... and I was swung around on a crane in a HUGE circle high above the trees, striking mock heroic poses and just waiting for the cable to snap and send me hurtling to my death. Then I had to come down and do the "product shot"...holding the packet of Anticol for a close-up...and they couldn't understand why my hands were shaking so badly. I prefer to remain earth bound, thank you.

High Spirits - the musical version of Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward.

In Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Aurora didn't fly, but she was hooked up to a flying harness when she sang the title song. She was climbing around on a giant spider web, and the harness was there so she woudn't fall and break her neck if she lost her footing.
