Foot Surgery OR I HAVE A BOOBOO!

So after 25+ years of foot problems( life as a nurse) from my congenital bunions( which kept geting bigger and meaner) I went in and had the worst one fixed. So now I am "Hopalong" Sabre. w a bandage the size of a large frying pan which doesn't get changed 4 2 WKS! And Percocet- which does help the pain
& makes me goofy also makes me ITCH!! So if u see some weird spelling etc pls put it up to the anesthesia and the Perk's.

MMMM'wah!

Those bastards yanked my gall bladder yesterday, so I am on the mend with you. I didn't get any good meds, though!

Speedy recovery Sabre...I know what it's like...I've been there. Hopping along I bang my foot and wound up breaking my toe, so be careful!

JG2...did they just yank on it or did they yank it out? Either way OUCH! Let me know if you need me to mail you some good meds

Hang in there and hope you have a speedy recovery! I can feel for you. Last year I slipped on black ice and ended up in 4 casts and surgery to place a metal plate and 4 screws in my right ankle. I was walking like Fred Sanford for a month after the last cast came off and I got rid of the crutches. But I can predict the weather.

My mom had both feet done (separate surgeries of course) so I know what you're going through. Have a safe recovery. Do you have a good stack of books to read?

I have books to read and some dvd's to watch as soon as I am mentally competent to do so. No really, I had a local magazine and it was only the 3rd time b4 I realized I'd ead this page b4!

I do like the long naps tho.

I can believe that only cos whe I was at Black Watch ( minimalist theatre- the seats were alluminum game style stands)
and I saw several femmes go into the show w the full date night outfit- short skirt, strapless tops and the 5 inch platforms. Be ing a tad evil- I giggled a lot at that image.

Thanks again for the sympathy & good wishes. GEEZ it looks like too many of us are falling apart and need to constant maintainance to hold us together!
On a side note- I can actually read and retain info! progess!
My foot has to be kept raised above the level of my heart- now thems Doctors Orders!!( shades of my wild and only semi-mispent youth)
