Damn - I'm so mad right now I could just scream.

Instead I cry. And cry, and cry, and cry.

I lost my dad to prostate cancer, then my best friend, now the sweetest, nicest, guy in NY.

So ---- All of you out there who own your own personal prostate gland, you are now ordered to get thee to a doctor post haste and get the damned thing checked. AND DO IT NOW!

This form of cancer has the highest success rate for a complete cure when it's treated early. But wait too long and ....

JUST DO IT

i thought that they had found it before it became malignant - it's so sad...they are dimming the lights for a minute on bway

Dear Jerry,

I just want to let you know what a truly remarkable man and influence you have been to me. I think you are probably one of the finest musical theatre talents to come along, not to mention you have a heart of gold. I grew up listening to you on various cast recordings, most notably The Fantasticks. I'm sure you don't remember this, but in June of 2002 I attended the Tony Awards, and you were there. With my pass, I was able to meet you and say a couple of words to you about how great I thought you were--I want to tell you that you were the most giving and generous person I have ever met. Everything everyone told me about you was true, and you were even more then I could imagine. I will cherish our conversation, however short, and the hug you gave me for my whole life.

My prayers and thoughts will be with you always.
