I was so upset to see it but I couldn't stop watching. Human nature I suppose.

LOL, that reminds of a cartoon I saw on danecook.com. Go check it out.

Click on "video", then scroll down to "Car Accidents." It's a hilarious cartoon.

My sister plays the violin and my brother plays the trumpet. I dabbled in flute, guitar and piano for various reasons throughout life, but not enough for anything to stick.

I watched 2 hours of Little House on the Prarie today.

Mandi, I agree with you on the saxophone thing. But...it looks kind of hard to play, since you have so many different keys to press. With the trumpet, it's just three keys! (Right?)

From a cop to selling meat. Quite a turn around. Interesting.

gavrochegirl, yes there are three things to press. banal thread

And that cartoon was freaky, scarey, and funny at the same time. I mean, car accidents aren't funny, but the way he was describing the people is true! XD

Sweet, it's really random!

Yay, I was right! *dances*

Yeah, it is true! We had a car accident in our neighborhood a while ago, and everyone came out of their houses. Even the people who you normally never see outside came out. It was very amusing. x)

Why don't you go to sleep?

I should. I'm going to Six Flags for the first time tomorrow with one of my best friends. I won't though. Fraiser is on. banal thread

I'm having one of those nights where I'm totally exhausted but I can't shut my mind down.

I went to bed almost two hours ago. I read somewhere once that it takes most people 10-15 minutes to fall asleep. I'm dying to know how they do it.

I'm dying to know too. I've been having an impossible time getting to sleep lately.

I don't know how...I'm one of those people whose mind races about what they are doing the next day until they are too tired to think anymore.

Though, when I daydream about random things, it seems to make me go to sleep sooner.

I should have known better than to try so early, I guess. I've never been able to fall asleep before midnight, no matter what time I have to get up.

What phone call that cheered Emcee up? Did I miss some sort of joke?

No, you didn't miss anything, but I assume it was from CS. At least, that's the impression I got from it.

I had a teacher once who insisted that if you did not fall asleep in 7 minutes, the average, there was something wrong with you.

I say he's an idiot. It takes me like half an hour, at least.

Two hours used to be my minimum, but I've got it down to an hour or an hour and a half now. My sleep patterns have always been really wonky. In a perfect world, I'd go to bed at two and wake up at ten or eleven. I can't be remotely productive in the morning because my eyes are always falling shut even if I've had a decent amount of sleep. I can easily fall asleep in the window of seven to eight PM, but after eight is when I'm most awake. Two PM is also a burnout time. If I'm not forced to do anything, I'll sleep.

The 4-5 p.m. range is really tough for me. I always get sleepy around then. During the school year, sometimes I nap around five.

My whole upper body is really sore. I don't know why. My shoulders and whatnot really hurt, though.

I always get really tired in school, and then I tell myself that I'm going to go home and take a nap, and when I get home I'm wide awake. I think it's the lack of fresh air in my school. We don't have windows.

I agree Mandi. However...

clarinet > saxophone > flute

(had to add the flute in...I'm starting to play it and it's so frustrating).

I always got tired the moment I came home from school. I'd just collapse on my bed for an hour or two.

Like you, nia, my ideal world would involve going to sleep around 1-2 AM and waking up in the late morning. However, my job schedule generally doesn't allow for that.
