When my mom and I saw The Devil Wears Prada on Friday and Tracie Thoms first appeared on the screen, she elbowed me excitingly and exclaimed: "That's the girl from Rent!!".

I was very surprised at:

1.) The fact that she remembered her from seeing the movie once with me in theaters.

and 2.) The fact that she was very excited about it.

Does anyone know any natural headache remedies? I've tried the pressure point thing. I don't have any natural herbs or stuff like that...

A very close friend has a broken ankle. Her husband has to work tomorrow, so she'll be alone. I told her I would be around if she needed me and she asked me to come keep her company. I decided I would grab some movies and get her favorite food from Arthur Ave. I told her tonight and she said, "Well, just call me before you leave and I will see what I am in the mood for." I was TRYING to do something nice. Not sure why that annoyed me.

I just went food shopping with my mom, and Blockbuster is right next to the supermarket. They were having a sale on previously viewed DVD's, so I got Proof and Jarhead for like 6 bucks apiece. My mother was about to buy her own copy of Rent (yes, I almost fell over in shock!) but she decided to get Finding Neverland instead. Still, I can't believe she even *wants* her own copy of Rent.

I had dinner with one of my only friends from high school that I'm still close with last night, and she's coming here later to hang out for a while, and go swimming or whatever. She's been in touch with another girl who's a good friend of ours, but she's drifted from both of us quite a bit lately about getting together today. I have to call her about the plans, and I feel really awkward, because it's like.... she hasn't been jumping to see or get in touch with us, so why should we chase her? My other friend is really diligent about preserving ties, and I know she wants to get the three of us together again, I just feel like... are we the only ones who think it's worth the effort? I feel like our friend doesn't really care.

If she doesn't seem interested in hanging out with you and your friend, then don't bother inviting her again.

I am so, so good at awkward phone calls.

And by good at them, I mean I make them way too often.

I had another weird dream last night!

What was it Em?

I woke up at 1. I looked at the clock when I first woke up, thought it said 9, and then went laid in bed. I could not have been awake for that long and not realized it. I'll try to do something productive today.

I'd rather not post it, as it contains some stuff that doesn't belong on the boards. Nothing like, risque, but it regarded some information about an actor that shouldn't be posted.

hee, sounds cryptic, though, no?

I had a weird dream! Of course, I watched "The 99 most bizzare sleeping walking stories" before I went to bed.

I dreamt I was blown away from a hurricane. I landed in this strange place of really tall people who basically told me I didn't belong there. I told them I was confused and the hurricane killed me and they said they'd shoot me if I didn't leave. I was dead scared because they were towering over me. Somehow I ended up in Korea where people accepted me but I was so angry that I threw a fit and broke my spine.

Really weird.

I watched the movie Titus last night and Alan Cumming and Anthony Hopkins both rocked my world, as well as every other actor in the movie. It was cool bcs I wasn't at all familiar w/ the story until I watched the movie, so I was surprised by Shakespeare! Hooray! I think I'll start reading the play today.

That's exciting! My mom would never remember something like that. It would probably be me elbowing her and freaking out!

SweetQ, that is such a wierd dream. Honestly. But, how in the world did you break your spine by having a fit?

Dancin, I know! It was so random too! Maybe she was having an off night. I mean, she couldn't find the cup holder twice. XD

Yeah, she did an absolutely excellent job. I recommend the movie to anyone...well...anyone who loves Shakespeare but doesn't mind a lot of blood and gore and violence. : )

I just got a REALLY weird myspace message from my aunt wanting to know when I turned 17 (I'll be 18 in January). She told me to put my right age back, and asked why I thought she was mad at me (WHEN did I say that?).
