My good friend IMed me today and I sent him an e-card. He always makes me really happy, especially when we IMed today.

As his little avatar thingy (We were on Google Talk, I know what an actual buddy icon is!), he had a picture of Central Park he took a while back when he was in New York. Then we had a little conversation on how beautiful Central Park is.

*sigh*

Um, that was kind of weird, huh?

*slinks away*

So Sweeney was amazing, of course. There are a few things I would like to share...

The first two are me getting teary eyed at the end of 'Not While I'm Around' and Manoel's reaction to Mrs. Lovett's death. It was just...so. good.

The second is...well, Patti stumbling off the chair and almost falling on the ground. It was at the end of 'A Little Priest' when Patti and Michael are stepping onto the coffin. They both stepped onto the chairs fine, and when they went to put a leg on the coffin, Michael did it fine, but Patti's chair...slipped and fell over and she stumbled back. Michael still had her hand and she flipped the chair upright and it took a bit, but she was up on the coffin at the end of the song. And they didn't miss a beat. banal thread

And my younger sister thought that was supposed to happen...so, nice recovery!

Oh, and during the ovation, quite a number of people where already up (from what I could see, I was Row C Mezzo) by the time Mano came out, and when he did, most of the people sitting down stood up and cheered loudly. banal thread

I got like five hours of sleep last night, and yet I'm still awake at 2:15. Meeeh. Life, I hate you.

I borrowed the second season of South Park from the library and never got around to watching it till tonight, where I watched almost all of it. Great to see some favorites like Eric finding out about his dad, and some I've never seen before like the mind controlling in the Plan-a-rium. Fun night, glad I got to watch it before it's due back.

My school's email system has been down since Monday. For the most part lately, it's all just been junkmail, so I'm not expecting anything important, but the fact that I still don't have access to it is starting to make me nervous.

My mom just called from a movie theater in the hick town where my brother is at camp, because they're selling their old posters for like two bucks apiece, so she wanted to know if there were any I wanted.

Oprah's Brokeback episode is re-running right now. I can't stand her and the way she handled interviewing Heath and Jake, but I'm watching anyway, because the cast is just so damned cute. The clips are making me want to watch the movie again.

Rogue-at least you aren't going to get them pulled on Friday the 13th like I did.

I just walked into my grandparents living room, and they're listening to Les Mis! Apparently they're really big broadway fans. Who knew? Maybe I should start spending more time with them.

I dropped off some perscriptions I need filled that'll be ready at 6:30. I can't decide if I want to go out again tonight to pick them up, or if I should do it in the morning. I need some other stuff at the store while I'm there, but I guess it could wait.
