I just had quite an experience.
After class, my friend and I decided to take a walk to the library to get something we needed. (The library is on the other side of the campus we were on.)
It was raining but we decided to go anyway- what's a little rain, right?
When we were finished, we went outside to walk back to our cars. IT WAS POURING, THUNDERING AND LIGHTING like you wouldn't believe. I told her I was going to wait it out until she took me by the arm and dragged me.
Within seconds my shoes were water clogged and it was like walking in the pool. The water splashing into my face and the water up to my knees (my college gets flooded VERY easily.) My glasses fogged up since it was humid also and I could barely see where I was going.
We finally got to a building we could walk through but I told her I'm not going until it lets up. Again, she dragged me and the lightning was so bad. Then the huge crash of thunder came and I screamed so loud.
Finally, I got to my car and drove home- it took me over 10 minutes to get out of the flooded parking lot. What REALLY sucks is that my phone (which was inside my bag) got soaked and now it's not working

Hopefully once it dries it will work.
Everything else that was in my bag is soaked too but it should all dry out and be fine.
