I was leaving the Holocaust Museum and got caught in the middle of Battery Park when that huge thunderstorm hit...it was crazy.

The dining hall had really good spiced mashed potatos for dinner. banal thread

Quite late in responding, but to Elphie a couple of pages ago: He's going to the University of Kentucky. And I'm sure you'll be fine at your orientation!

Honestly, the way that the orientation leaders (at least at NYU) go out of their way to make sure that everyone feels comfortable and happy pretty much ensures that your orientation experience won't be totally horrible.

I JUST MET JONATHAN PRYCE!!! Sorry, I'm really, really excited right now, even though I met him at the DRS stagedoor about four hours ago. The show today was great, btw, I'll write a review later, bcs some interesting stuff happened. Oh! I saw the Lietenant of Inishmore last night and it was SPECTACULAR!!! K, I have to go change my clothes bcs I got caught in the rain earlier and I'm soaked.

If my phone does not stop ringing, I am going to go through the roof!!!!!!! My mom called and told me to order chinese food for dinner, then I had to order it, then my mom called again to make sure I had gotten through, then a telemarketer called, then a college called to talk to me, then the doctor's office called to remind me of an appointment, and this all happened within 3 minutes!!! I'm going crazy!!!!! This also may be the first time I don't want chinese food. I'm not really hungry and I don't feel too well.

I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

I hate when people won't let me sleep. I wasn't feeling well last night and tried to sleep and my mom kept waking me up for dinner and stuff. Even after I told her I didn't want dinner, she woke me up a half hour later to ask if I wanted anything to eat NOW. I got pissed off and went to my room to go to sleep. She woke me up 2 hours later again to ask if I was going to bed and I told her yes. Then she asked if I wanted her to move my laptop. When I told her no (my laptop was on my bed, next to my head and closest to the wall, so she'd have to move it over top of me anyway), she started going on about how she didn't want it to fall on the floor. Then got offended when I told her to go away and leave me alone. I was already annoyed with her yesterday because of other issues, but I haven't harassed her when she's trying to sleep since I was an infant. Would it kill her to do the same?

first before I rant I just want to say how much I love this thread!

Okay well I had to register for my university courses online today. It's divided up so the fourth year students go one day, 3rd years go the next, 2nd's go the one after that and first years go on the last day, just so the computer sysytem doesn't crash. So because I'm a 2nd year student I got up extra early to register. My whole reason for getting up early was to register in psych 201, with a certain professor. Turns out the university consideres me a first year student because I switched faculties and I'll be in first year nursing courses (except for psych201 which is a second year course). So I can't register until tomorow! By tomorow my psych class wil be full! I wouldn't be surprised if it were full now!
