Speaking of cows: I took the ferry the other dya,a nd out in the middle of the water was a little stuffed cow floating into oblivion.
Em, I LOVE "How Glory Goes."
Yes, it definitely was a real cow.
It's so beautiful. I've heard Guettel sing it, and I loved it then, but hearing Stokes sing it just sends chills through me.
I haven't heard Stokes sing it yet. I still need his CD.
I've heard Guettel, and Audra McDonald (also gorgeous).
Banality: Our summer concert season is over. TOnight was the last one. Saturdays are free again.
I'm tired. Goodnight all.
I've yet to hear Audra's, but I must.

I bought one Quiksilver sticker, one Roxy sticker, one House of Blues sticker, and a Rainforest Cafe necklace today, all for $4. Not bad, eh?
I also saw Pirates 2. It was waaaay too long. And the ending made me angry.
But afterwards, I had a nice lunch of chicken tenders and fries.
WHY AM I NOT TIRED?
My stomach hurts and my head hurts.
I don't remember what time I fell asleep last night, but it was in the middle of an episode of Lost, so I had to be totally exhausted.
I'm going to Wonderland today. I got a free ticket from a friend. I'm going to melt.
I woke up six minutes ago and today already sucks.
Why? I'm in one of those weird chipper moods.
*hugs Em*
It is SO. HOT. outside. ICK.
Well, scratch anything that requires going outside from my list of things to accomplish. My weather thingy says 91, but I know it's going to feel worse than that. *sits by AC*
NYC should not be allowed to get this hot. I have to take the subway today and I'm scared I'm going to melt.
It feels like it's one thousand degrees outside. *changes into shorts*
I keep fogetting that everyone lived in city like areas. Here, you NEED a car. And the car my parents gave me just happens to have an a/c.
Also, is it not required in city areas for them to place full a/c units in you apartment insted of those window ones?
I can feel my hair getting messed up from the humidity.
I think most air conditioned apartments in NYC have the window units.
I think it depends on how old your apartment building is. My building was built in the 60s, so we don't have window units (we have central air).
I miss central AC.
I would too. That makes me thing twice about moving to NY.
I have no a/c...just a little desk fan. And I also have to take the subway today, and then a train to NJ. I've never taken NJ Transit before so I have no idea what to expect.
We have one window A/C, and that's it. It's awful when it gets really hot.
