I'm watching Rent.
Poor Em. , I need to stop watching T.V. and posting on BWW so I can finish readin my second book and start on second book.
Actually, this is my old roommate's; she wants it back in the fall, but it IS a million years old. I mean, I didn't do anything to make it break, but I feel bad. The other one I have here won't connect to the DVD player and doesn't have a VCR, but I think I'll put it in temporarily.
I'm watching "Qué dice la gente?". It's like Family Feud in Spanish. Unlike those damn addicting telanovelas, even with my limited Spanish skills I can still follow it.

God, Mandi, I know I'm sexy, but I'm just not important enough to dream about.

^Haha oh man. BWWers are the best.
I really need to get The Wild Party Cast Recording. Brian D'arcy James is my new obsession at the moment.
Well, you know, just the mention of Siamese Dream makes me happy in my pants.

I am tired and hungry. I had half a hoagie at 11am and nothing else since but...
I am HAPPY!
Am I allowed to ask why?

hehe- Nope!
Soap, I love ya but...I really would not be allowed to say such things! Open your imagination (Nothing sexual)
jlc won Spelling Bee lotto and called me earlier and told me she won. She was so excited- 2nd one called! She just got out and is waiting for the cast. She said everyone was wonderful and Barrett was her favorite (and I didn't even tell her to say that!)

Well I'm glad that you're happy Q.
And hooray for winning the Spelling Bee lottery! I'm glad she enjoyed the show.
My stomach hurts and I don't know why.

ponine- I hope you feel better!
jlc just called me from a restaurant...she was running from the rain. lol
She talked to Barrett and a bunch of other cast members and she got a playbill signed for me! Yehaww!!
Just a bit excited.
I've had a good day. I have got to read sociology NOW!

Sociology sounds fun. Thanks Q. I'm glad that your friend had a nice time.
If it's raining in NYC, then it's coming here. Poo on that.
My cousin met Johnny Depp today for the second time. I am so jealous I can think of no other words right now. Grr.

RENTingFAME- I haven't seen you post in a while! How have you been?
I keep meaning to IM you but, I get side-tracked.
Well now we talked! Other than the whole jealous thing, I'm good!
Also aside from reading the Scarlet Letter for school, which I'm finding incredibly dull.
So much has changed for me this year. I know it's a part of life and growing up but it kind of makes me sad looking back.

Your cousin is very lucky. You are as well though! You got to meet Anthony Rapp!
I actually liked The Scarlet Letter. It gets much more interesting about 3/4 of the way through the book. It's hell of a lot better than Gulliver's Travels. ugh. A word to the wise in terms of The Scarlet Letter: don't rent the movie.
Ugh, that was a boring book. I had to read that last summer. I didn't enjoy it.
On another note: I want a freakin' taco, but I can't have one. And I'm starting to look like a chipmunk.

Ponine, are you talking about the Demi Moore movie? I haven't seen that (heard it's horrible), but we watched a PBS version of The Scarlet Letter in class that wasn't too bad.
SweetQ already said all this, but Spelling Bee was SO much fun. Barrett was really good as Leaf, and the rest of the cast was great too. I took my friend Alexis who is here visiting me and she loved it too. The lotto seats are super close to the stage, and not made for anyone who can't sit low to the ground, haha. But it was a fun time, I'm so glad I went!
Oh, and Rentingfame, that's so weird. There were these two ladies behind me who won the lotto and they had just met Johnny Depp at Letterman.
