Em, you're not the only one with a f-ed up life. Heck, mostly for me it's the f-ed up town I live in.
I don't care if you read this or not, I just need to get it all out of my system, because it's been a hell of a rough day. First of all, yesterday one of my close friends was jogging on the street by her house when she was suddenly held at gunpoint, forced into a car, and raped. It was crazy at school. Everyone was crying. My friends and I pretty much spent the day in the principal's/guidance office being asked questions..etc. None of us knew what to say because we didn't really know what happened, nor did we want to talk about it. I mean come on, one of your best friends just got raped, what the hell can you say to that?
Second of all, my mom tells me today that my uncle, who is like a second father to me, had a heart attack this morning. Luckily he is alright, and it was only mild, but he's going to be in the hospital for a few days. According to what the doctor told my mom, the heart attack was caused by my uncle's smoking. Here's the thing though. My uncle quit smoking about a year ago. Haha...I guess not. Apparently he was lying to me about this and has continued smoking. Why did he feel the need to lie to me about it? Just tell me what's going on. I can handle it, I'm not a baby.
My parents keep calling every two seconds (I'm home alone right now) to make sure that I'm alright, which is just extra annoying. I just want to freaking disconnect the phone! *sigh*
Ugh. Ok now that's off my chest. How's everyone else?
I just got a papercut on my tongue! Ow.
We're supposed to leave for rehearsal like NOW, and my friend still has et to enlighten me as to whether or not we're going.
Well my friend DID call to tell me that we ar enot going to rehearsal tonight. She also proceeded ot throw it in my face that she's in driver's ed and I'm not, and to bitch about the 10 cents the text message she "sent" (she did not send it) will cost her.

Another day, another rehearsal...yay! I had a lot of fun at last night's rehearsal, just by hanging out with the cast. The sound and light designer was there last night, and he and I had a silly, fun talk. Apparentally, he works at Rainforest Cafe, which makes me really happy!
I order fried dumplings and they gave me steamed. I'm just going to take it as a sign that I shouldn't eat fried dumplings AND make cookies in one night.
ponine- I'm really sorry about your friend and your uncle. And I hope youre parents will stop annoying you.
Wow, ponine, I'm really sorry.
Ponine, I'm so sorry about your friend.
ponine, I have no response for you post. It is truly a terrible thing. I'm fighting my impulse to bake something and fed-ex it too you. (It's how we handle everything in Alabama) Anyways, I'm doing fine. I'm actually enjoying spending time with my family in this cabin.
censorship is evil.
Fight the power!
Ponine, I'm really, really sorry about your friend and uncle.
On another note, Conan was so. freaking. hilarious. I loved his bits (and the warm-up guy's) before the show started to be recorded. And I got to see Alec Baldwin live, which is cool. The episode is on tonight.
Should we watch for you? :)

im actually going to bed now in an attempt to actually get some sleep for once! wish me luck! :)
Should we watch for you? :)
No, they didn't pan over the audience. At least, that I was aware of. You'd probably be able to hear my mother's laugh, though. XD
But if you're up that late, watch it anyway, because it's really hilarious.
Oh, and a random note: my mother and I stole a salt grinder from TGIF. She wanted one to match the pepper grinder she had already. My dad had no idea that we did it until the car. We kept on making funny faces and saying: "Gasp!" We were silly during dinner.
My throat hurt so much right now. My internet is being freakishly slow. Applications for secondary schools are too overwhelming. I wanna bake cookies.
Ponine- I'm so sorry about your friend & your uncle. Hope everything turns out alright for you ♥

I'm so happy I didn't have to apply for high school. I was a pretty bitter middle school student.

Sending lots of good vibes to Ponine, family, and friends.
On a lighter, more frivolous note, I'm feeling very happy because I met a fellow Sondheim fan today.
