We are getting together tomorrow and she said she will call me in 15 minutes because she has to go upstairs and get something. The only problem with that is, she is staying w/ a friend who lives on the 2nd floor (there are only 2 floors)....

I absolutely loathe upsetting people and would sooner not say anything rather than upset someone. Awesome.

I'm wearing 2 pairs of socks. My feet are so cold! I rarely ever wear sandels because my feet are almost always cold.
I live in S. Florida and basically live in socks.

I'm hiding in my room, we have a city fair right now with fireworks and my neighbors decided that if the city can let off fireworks, so can they. I'm afraid our apartments will be reduced to ashes by the morning.

I have that exact same problem with my feet. They're always cold...so I bought some of those wool thermal socks at the Outdoor store to wear at night so my feet are warm.
