That's always awkward.
Just pretend to be your sister or something, and be like, "who is this again? I'll tell Mandi you want to talk to her."

I was just going to say that Elphie.
Tell her that you are Mandi's friend and ask her who she is and you'll tell Mandi the message.

I changed my avatar for the first time in over a year!
I also saw Lady in the Water tonight. It was decent.
"Decent" is a nice term for it.
That happened to me once that I can remember. The other guy started chatting away and I had no idea who he was. Half an hour into our conversation I asked "did we f*** or something?" He first asked me who this was, and after I told him, he was like "bye" and logged off.
I never spoke to him again.
I just realized that the bus doesn't run in the summer on Sundays, so I'm kind of stuck here. Hmm.

Do you think its possible to read 10 books, write 3 essays, and fully research two psychological disorders in 27 days?
Or am I being unrealistic and am screwed for school to start ?
It's do-able, I guess, if you work your ass off, but start now or you're gonna be screwed.
I am having THE most inappropriate conversation ever. I love it.
So I work very close to a particularly famous daddy bar in Manhattan.
As I was taking my lunch break, I noticed a "scene" going on outside said bar.
Upon closing in on it, I discovered it was a photo shoot featuring mostly naked bears and leather daddies and soap.
I don't know if that is particularly banal (minus the b, perhaps?) but I really didn't want to start a new thread for this.
I don't think BWW ever rejects threads about lascivious photo shoots..
A coworker just walked in here, held up a HUGE shirt and said, "do you think this is a medium?"
I asked him why he asked me and he replied, "well, you're a small guy."
I nearly passed out from happiness.
Then I realized that 250 pounds would be a small guy to most of my coworkers.
I'm so tired and I have no idea why. I'm pretty sure I got enough sleep last night. Maybe I got too much. Oh well.

blah. No sleep for the weary. Last night I went to sleep around 4:00. Soon after, rain started blowing towards my window which woke me up. Then I read for a bit and watched the 6:00am news. Then I went to sleep but my mom called me at 8:30 to read me something from the newspaper (yes, it's true.)
Then half hour later my aunt calls. She asked a question about who was on Conan Friday night.
Then 10:00 a wrong number calls.
11:00, my friend calls and is ready to go out to lunch. (She came to visit from California and is staying at another friends house)
I decided sleep was pointless.
We went to lunch at Applebee's, then walked around the mall a bit and then we just watched RENT.
I seriously need to study for my sociology test.

I'm eating Crunch candy hearts. My mom and I got a whole bag of them for free last night!
I was just making dinner and I stabbed myself with a skewer. It broke the skin and now it's bleeding...a lot.

The episode of Gilmore Girls where Kirk plays Tevye in Fiddler is on. HIGH-larious!
I have an extra (very large) charge on my ATM card. SH*T.
I'm alone and bored.
I just got back from playing tennis, and I feel so gross!
That sucks Em.
Two weeks ago, our bank messed up and took out $100 bucks from our checking account.
We called, and they said they put back it back in asap.
So, a day or two later, the $100 bucks was put back in. YAY!
But the next day, another $100 was there. We withdrew it, and now they want it back.
It ain't gonna happen.
i'm thinking of going drinking and dancing tonight

Why do I always get so freaked out when I'm home alone? I keep looking around every dark corner of my house waiting for someone to pop out. I've lived here for 14 years and there's never been a problem on this street, and I've been alone countless times, and yet I'm still scared.
You're just not used to it. I had the same reaction when I started living alone. Sorry you're feeling nervous, just try to relax and distract yourself.
Distractions work until I hear a car door or the house shifts. I also watch too much CSI and those crime shows on A&E, so I tend to think all those situations will of course happen to me.
