Nia, do you get to wear whatever you want?
I had to wear this ugly black thing.

Yeah, unless my mother doesn't want me to wear it. What do you mean by "ugly black thing" and why were you forced into it?

Oh, we all had to wear the same thing. It was black, it was ugly, hence the "black ugly thing". It was this black V-neck shirt that hung off the shoulders. So they had us push our shirts off our shoulders and sat the other thing on top - so that it looked like it was a real shirt, but it only covered enough of us that was in the picture.
I had to wear that for my "yearbook photo", but I wore two other outfits for the rest of the pictures.
We took a couple of different sets of pictures. I had to wear the ugly black thing in the yearbook one, but they couldn't hide my shirt under it, so the wardrobe person had to hide me while I changed my clothes completely (in the wings of our stage!). Then the photographer wondered why I looked so peeved in my picture.
That's what we had to wear, too, Fantab. So unnattractive. But they made us take off our other shirts, so we just had this drape-y thing that didn't cover too much. Thank goodness I had the good sense to wear a cami under my other shirt, I just pushed those straps to the side.
It's sort of bad when you've started watching the E! True Hollywood Stories of people you've never really heard of before.

for my senior pics, they made us put on these things that they called tube tops although they we just sheets pretty much with elastic in them and then we had to put the black thing over it. my pics actually turned out pretty good tho :)
I'm emotionally drained. I've been in a mess of tears and in this weird haze all day. Boys are stupid.

I have to sing The Beauty Is at my church's overnighter. Eh...
My mom is really getting on my nerves.
I'm voluunteering at two more fringe shows this coming week (hopefully better than Walmartopia).
I can't find my report card and my hard copy of my senior schedule...this is a huuuuge problem. I will not binge. I will not binge. Argh.
That reminds me, I have to call the guidance couselor tomorrow in order to fix the conflict in my schedule.
Blah. I'll probably put that off until 11-ish.

Backing up:
Sorry about those ugly black things. They really do sound hideous. Do you all go through your school for senior pictures? Mine doesn't provide them. Everyone has to go to a professional photographer on their own, so you can wear whatever you like and you get mulitple outfits.
It sounds like everyone has crap to do at school tomorrow. I have to shelve books in the library for three hours. Whoo hoo.
Mine were through my school. They crammed as many people as they could into a five minute session. Although it probably didn't help that my graduating class had around 580 people in it.
I finally watched Brokeback Mountain... it lost something between big screen and small screen, though that very well could have been partly due to my friend's very nice, but generationally cynical grandmother asking a lot of questions, and my father talking through the whole thing.

I've got a question and hopefully someone will know the answer.
I just can't think of it now...
What is the picture that actors/actresses have that was taken as part of the photo shoot for the show.
There are headshots and then there are...like photoshoot pictures.
What is the specific name?

It's every bit as good on a smaller screen, but it does require an uninterrupted viewing. Getting up to make popcorn damaged the feeling a little the last time I watched it.
Fantabulous, I'm sorry. Everyone ought to have a couple really good photos of themselves during their teenage years so that when we're all old and fat with no teeth, we can prove to our great-grandkids that we used to be young. It sounds like you guys didn't get that at all.
Do you mean a broadway show? I know for movies it's the costume test.
I think all of the bustling around, and having lights on and everything killed it. It needs to be watched in total darkness and silence, I think.
I look exactly the same now as I did in my senior photo, which is kind of odd.

It's like this kind of picture...
Production photo?
Well, I did have headshots taken. Those were fun.
Ooh, that sounds like fun! Was it really any ifferent from normal picture taking?
I wish I could destroy all of the pictures of me from age 10/11-16. Ich.
