I'm pretty sure I'm going to throw up. Banal AND gross.

Yay!!! It is finally lunch time at work!!!
Oh, the Hobbits video is great. I saw that a while back.
I have to work tonight with the guy that likes me. We'll see how that goes...
It's lunch time but I don't know what to eat in my house.
Yup, I was right.
I have no idea what to have for lunch. Not a clue.
I'm in the school computer lab right now, ditching class.
And "They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard!" is hilarious.

Bwaygirl, you just gave me a craving for vegetable mushu. Unfortunately, my car is un-drivable at this point (see avatar) and the little Chinese place I like doesn't deliver. Bah!
A baked potato--that's what's up!
after a few months ago... I'm back! is that a banal detail?
Oh my gosh, Pol! How are you?!
I burned the rice I made and it's all stuck to the pot.
Since last time... I'm fine, and i'm older xD
My cafeteria had as their special today stir fry! Score!
Okay, so I'm having the weirdest roommate situation.
My assigned roommate moved out on Saturday because she wanted to be in Manhattan, not Brooklyn.
So I come back from my long day Sunday, and there's a bunch of stuff on the other bed. But no other person. And I mean, it was fairly late...but whatever. I went to bed, woke up with nothing changed. Thought maybe she was waiting until classes started (Tuesday).
Through yesterday morning, there's still no sign of her, I've never met her, and her stuff's still on the bed. I come back from classes yesterday, and her stuff is mostly unpacked--bed's made, some towels, toothbrush, etc are out so I think okay guess she's coming now. No sign of her since the change in her stuff. Haven't met her.
I'm certainly not complaining--I'm enjoying having a double/single room. It's just...slightly odd, having a Phantom roommate.
Maybe she's deliberately avoiding you.
She's probably just trying to balance moving in and getting organized with being in classes, too, so she has to do it in spurts.
"Maybe she's deliberately avoiding you."
Maybe she saw all my Broadway stuff and ran away scared.
Like I said, I've certainly been enjoying commanding my room.
Though on one positive hand, she does have Buffy DVDs. Always a good thing.
I'm really hungry, but I'm afraid that if I eat anything, I'll end up repeating this afternoon's events all over again.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Coffee.
Oh, I forgot to mention that Tuesday I bought tickets to the Chita Rivera concert...THIRD ROW. Yep. I'm awesome like that.
I just signed up to harass registered democratic voters to vote for a certain candidate...oh what fun. I hate stupid election simulation requirements, but I get a script to work off of...
My life is way too complicated. Why does everything turn into a huge dilemma?

For my multicutural ed class, we named about 25 "groups/places"
Ex: Iraq, Jews, African Americans, Native Americans, Asians, Jamaica, South Africa, Columbians, Cubans, Egyptians...
Then we voted and ended up with 6 groups.
So, our class split into 6 groups with 5 people in each. We basically could pick our group as long as it ended up with 5 people in each group. I am in the group who is doing the project on Iraq.
2 people in the group are doing the history of Iraq
1 person is doing education in Iraq
and 2 people are doing the War with Iraq and stereotypes.
I volunteered to do the part of the War with Iraq/Stereotypes. The other person who is doing it with me is a Muslim girl.
It should be interesting.
It's a huge project and we have to write a huge paper and then do a 1 and a half hour presentation on Iraq. We have to set up the room to look like Iraq..etc...

Well. I survived my first day.
I really didn't like History, but that's about it. I had a lot of fun, actually! My Science teacher is awesome, and my English teacher is...amusing to say the least. She thought Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day was a girl.
Tomorrow, I have all of my electives and math. It should be fun, except for the math part...
I love the absolute lack of punishment that I have. I was expecting something, but yeah, all that was supposed to happen (which all fell through) has fallen through.
I'll most likely be going to NYC on the 25th...And probably to Conan, considering how long it took to get tickets.
It's so laughable, and it now a joke in the family. *dances*

Good to see you've already started working on it.
I got soaked at work today. We have this water pump set up outside so the kids can fill buckets and water the flowers, but a teacher has to actually turn on the pump, because they're not strong enough. Some of the kids watered flowers. Some of the kids poured the water onto the pavement then made mud. Most of the kids unintentionally poured water onto themselves and me. It was actually a lot of fun. And I'm changed now, so all is good.
