For some reason, I'm on the e-mail list for the dance department of the paper.

I know zero about dance. I guess they just put the theater section on their list, but... I am of no use to the dance section.

I've fallen head over heels for Michael Arden

Caroline, you're always falling for someone. I swear, Cupid's arrows make you look like a porcupine... as my grandmother would say.

I'm so weak willed, it's scary.

But Michael Arden is incredibly cute.

I think I may minor in theatre. What do you guys think? The classes I would have to take (including two electives) are:

Voice for the Actor
Playscript Analysis
Acting I
Acting II
Development of the American Musical Theatre
Playwrighting

I think I could handle that...and plus I would have fun. I should contact the Theatre Dept. soon about this.

Pfft, that's easy. I have 4 core theater classes under my belt, but you need eight to get the minor at my school. The minor! What the hell?!

(For comparison, a minor at any sane department at my school requires 5 classes.) Updated On: 9/12/06 at 01:17 AM

You can't minor in theatre at my school. We have a very respected theatre program, but there are only THREE classes non-majors can take. Gee, sorry I happen to have varied interests...

My classroom is in a locked hallway. Hopefully they open it soon. I probably only have to press the green button, but I'm too scared to try it out. Being a first year again is really annoying, at least I didn't go to any dead ends today.

You can't minor in theater here, either. You can take as many classes as you want as a non-major, but your options are either to be a major or just take classes.

I'm tired. I need to start going to bed earlier while I still can.

One week into the school year and my sleep patterns are already completely f**ked up.

I think I may be getting sick...my throat's been feeling funny all day long.

Blah. I also have two papers to write, but I'm kind of tired.

I'm going to go get a glass of milk. Nice cold milk.

Uh oh, feel better.

I'm trying to plan out like... the next two months of my life. I'm just a tad overwhelmed. More often than not, it's a bad thing that my mind is a giant calendar.

Thank you. for those who feel the need to share all of their banal details part 4 I hoping I'm just having an off day. I made soup, but I had some problems finding a big enough bowl and the directions were lacking in detail. It tastes alright, though.

I guess I can semi-relate to how you're feeling: I'm taking the SATs again on Oct. 14 (I have, I guess, good scores, but I still want to try to get higher ones), I have to figure out what colleges I am appling to, what I actually want to major it, and I have to fill out all of the applications and essays and all that good stuff. :-P

Why does it seem liks I'm the only person in my group of friends who doesn't know what their career is going to be? Grr/blah...

*eats soup instead of doing two essays*

I hate this. my mom and I were having a conversation regarding my math grade (only 3 weeks into the school year and already I'm not doing great). Anyway, this escalated into an argument and my mom saying, "well what are you going to do differently to change your grade?" and I said 'I'll study more for my tests and quizzes", "do you understand everything?" "Well, I thought I did, but I obviously don't" "Well, then you should get help" Then I said something along the lines of I know, I've heard this speech for the past 3 years. She got mad at me stormed off to her room and I went to my room too. Now, it's been 3 hours and she's still mad at me. She won't talk to me and even if she does it's to say something mean. It's making me crazy. 3 hours isn't enough time to get over your anger? She gets mad at me when it takes me 15 minutes to get over something. I don't understand why she does this to me. I can guarantee that she'll be like this for the rest of the night and then tomorrow morning she'll be all buddy-buddy with me again. It's so strange and it really makes me angry.

Sorry for the long post, had to get this off my chest

I'm sick. Yay. We call it "the crud" at my school. It's a mixture of several unpleasant things that, if untreated, probably turns into *gasp* the FLU! Oy. I bought some cough drops and pocket Kleenex and am on some serious vitamin C action so I should be all right. Everyone else that's sick: Feel better soon!

I am starting Season 2 of Lost.
Why have I not bought that yet?? I'm so excited for Season 3!!

I left my math book in my mom's car this morning, thinking I didn't need it for school, since my teacher doesn't want us to do homework in class. But now I need it for homework. Bah, now I've got to work on it at rehearsal tonight...

On top of everything, I need to figure what song to lip-sync to for Drama on Thursday. And it was assigned today, so I can't really procrastinate on it...

I was afraid that I had a fever (I felt warm), but I just took my temperature and it says 98.9 degrees. *shrug*

Techinically, I believe any increase above normal temperature is a fever, but I don't think a .3 degrees increase counts. Hehe..
