I'd know that edition anywhere, big comix fan that I am. it's funny that soundtrack you have in the middle has dorothy drawn in a pink dress(!) my niece is obsessed with Oz she's 4 and watches it every day. she laughs at the witch! LOL.

Posted: 5/2/05 at 9:47pmMarquise, it is indeed the Marvel Comics Adaptation of "Oz". I wanted it for SO long and was ecstatic when I got it. I have the Marvel "Land of Oz" as well. To bad they never continued their line of comics, I would have loved them.

Sorry to burst in on this...I would have a Wizard of Oz icon, but I've got this weird thing against using icons in general. The Wizard of Oz is my all-time favorite movie, so I had to check out this thread.
luvliza, your collection looks awesome. Have you seen the ruby slippers at the Smithsonian? I'm not really a collector-type of person, but seeing those was like my childhood dream coming true. I know more random facts about this movie than anything else, so that was a awesome.
That being said, Jwei- Toto was actually played by a female dog named Terry, who later changed her name to Toto (I guess it looked better on the marquee).

As Toto in The Muppets' Wizard of Oz Pepe becomes the first prawn to play a dog in the history of motion pictures. (Sure, it's a small niche, but it's his.)
This hot and spicy king prawn was born off the coast of Spain, where a fisherman discovered him during an early morning casting call.
