his first appearance as host of Masterpiece Contemporary is this coming Sunday. There is a nice video "behind the scenes" where David talks about different things, becoming an actor, his leading ladies in Doctor Who, thoughts on Hamlet etc.

Oh, my heart goes pitter pat.

I'm quite convinced he's the closest thing to a perfect man.

It's so funny to hear his scottish accent, cause I'm so used to his Doctor accent.

I'm glad NYC didn't get David, because then there probably wouldn't be a dvd of the RSC version that we can enjoy forever

Well, there was Tooth and Claw. Though if I remember right, that was a different Scottish accent than his natural one.

It was a little thicker than his actual accent but Scottish and Irish accents are HAWT!
