"Je parle en petit francais."

Moi aussi.

"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim

Oh, my dad was an extra in that movie. I think that's the one when they invited him to join SAG, but he never joined. He did extras in a couple movies.

My French is, let's say, basic and I'll soon be starting to learn Spanish which I'm already looking forward to re: Foreign language thread

And of course, German, my native language, plus people say I'm fluent in English (with a rather British accent though), I tend to agree with that re: Foreign language thread

Well, besides English, I speak a little French (but I understand a lot more than I can speak) and ... guess what else re: Foreign language thread

Polish, Czech, Slovak and Spanish. (the Slovak is cheating, as it's kind of a mix of Polish and Czech, though closer to Czech...but I understand nearly everything, and I guess can speak it if I really try)
But, like others here, I would never say I'm fluent at any of them. Plus I studied Japanese for like 12 years, plus a few years of Indonesian...
But my favourite language is English, and it always will be re: Foreign language thread

I speak Norwegian fluently (it's where I'm from), Danish and Swedish I'm pretty good at but wouldn't call myself fluent in them. I also speak some French and a little bit of Spanish.
