What do most posters on BWW do for living?

Sophomore in college studying Theatre
Chita is out of Drood.

Saw it for the first time tonight and I also have to chime in to add that Eric as Jasper was absolutely fantastic
Fun Fact: Rupert Holmes (composer, lyricist, and book writer of Drood) was also in attendance tonight.

Now. Here. This. on itunes

I'm in love and have had it on repeat the whole day. I cried on the bus while listening to "Golden Palace". Bravo [tos] gang. You've done it again.
DOG SEES GOD: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead

I saw a production at the Boxcar Theatre in San Francisco. It was so good, I saw it twice. I went in having already read the play. I liked it when I read the script, but I fell in love when I saw it come to life on stage. This play is an dead-on reflection of growing up.
If you could steal anybody's voice, who would you pick?

Question regarding Scottsboro Boys

Ah I cannot wait to see this show in July! So excited to finally see it after hearing everyone talk about it for so long.
TALES OF THE CITY

This show is so fantastic. I want a cast recording and I want the project to continue with its original cast!
Lyric War

Hmmmmm...ok, how about this:

"Lullaby in the garden, where dream flowers grow. Lullaby, my child of a world we'll never know."

Lyric War

Would no one defend him, protect him, befriend him, would none hear his cry?

The opening song from Bat Boy, right?

Dress code for tours?

I always dress up when I see a national tour. I think wearing jeans is fine as long as they are in a darker wash and aren't baggy, but you're better off with a nice shirt instead of just a t-shirt.

That goat call is HILARIOUS
Try to Remember the Kind of September...

Aw I'm actually in rehearsal for The Fantasticks right now. This song also reminds me of times before 9/11 happened.
How'd You Get Into Theatre?

I did every single musical at my church when I was little, and I also always sang in the children's choir, so I guess my need to perform was always there but I wouldn't figure it out until later.
In the third grade, my mother told me she didn't want me to sit at home all summer so she signed me up for dance class. Again, I was a performer but at that point I wanted to be a professional dancer, not an actress.
In the fifth grade, my friend Ally convinced me to join the school band. She sa

Let's do a fun post

Anyone who's seen CHICAGO with a competent cast knows it's one of the most incredible nights of theatre you'll ever have.

I should clarify that I have nothing against the actual material of Chicago, but I was not a fan of the minimalist style at all. I saw it with Lisa Rinna as Roxie and Harry Hamlin as Billy...it wasn't THE WORST PIECE OF THEATRE I HAVE EVER WITNESSED...it just wasn't, what's the word, striking to me? And certainly not on my list of incredible nights of theatre.
