I hate it when movis I love get the remake treatment, but this one shows promise.

I think these two do have chemistry.

This seems like a bad idea on so many levels.

Interesting.

The original is a favorite of mine. Hilarious!

Me too! I love all those 70s comedies/comedians.

This one is up there with Seems Like Old Times and Silver Streak.

I love the original so much. There's no good reason for this. None!

Interesting that she's literally following in her mom's filmed footsteps. I never saw the original, but this remake has got to be better than that Fool's Gold mess, right?

I'm willing to give it a chance b/c I like both of these actors in romcoms.

But the original is still and will always be a classic.

I hope whoever sees it enjoys it.

I'll stick with the original.

I think it would be more appealing with Jennifer Hudson and Shirtless Matty.

Matthew should play Dudley Moore's part.

I just read about this on IMDB. I loved the original, and I think it is a really good movie for Hudson and McConaughey. I only hope they keep "Ready to Take A Chance Again", with a modern update.

My recommendation: have Elaine Stritch and Ed Asner play the Rachel Roberts and Burgess Meredith roles, and keep their fight scene. I might be convinced to part with $10 to see that.

So Tazzy may be ready to take a chance again, but I'm not.

Hudson's got guts to remake one of "mama's" films. At least she's keeping her mitts of Private Benjamin and Cactus Flower. I wish her luck.

And if we get a Pink or Justin Timberlake redo of the Manilow song, I think I'll die.

Count me among those who aren't interested in the remake.

But, I think I have to find a copy of the original and watch it again. It's a classic comedy... Love it!
