Glass bottles. There is something so elegant.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

Recently I found aluminum tumblers in a catalogue. I remembered them from when I was a kid in the 50's, so I ordered a set and find that when I drink anything from them, it tastes terrific--especially my beloved Diet Lemon Coke. One of the nice aspects of these tumblers is that they frost up the moment you put any cold liquid in them--great on a hot summer's day!

Yes, those are exactly the tumblers we're talking about. I am wondering why something so practical and good fell out of favor. I'm thinking about buying another set. They really do enhance drinks!
