just got home.......but have one quick funny story.
Saturday morning we flew from Prague to Frankfurt, for one day before flying back home this morning.
We were on the Zeil, the main shopping street, and notice a medium sized anti-war demonstration, lots of Lebanon flags, etc.
So we go to the restaurant on top of the Kaufhof Galleria, a major department store, have lunch, and then go out on their patio to get some good pix.
After a bit we notice music, I look down and see what I thought was a growing anti-war parade....then I hear loud disco/dance music......I look down and realize it's Frankfurts gay pride parade, after noticing their version of Dykes on Bikes, the drag queens, and the almost nude guys.
We lucked out by just happening to be there.
The odd part was to the left is the anti-war demonstration, and feet from them in the street is this large, noisy gay pride parade........was very interesting to see the two groups interact......of course the pride parade drowned them out......was such a fun time, a jewel among our memories.
I will be posting pix in the next few days.....more later

It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...
