i do remember these although i did not own a pair. my friend, the product of a divorced household, had a pair of gloves that turned into a lizard looking skin thing.
i can still picture myself in the back hallway of my elementary school admiring his gloves and thinking to myself, "why cannot MY parents be divorced so i can get the freaky freezies gloves and all the cool star wars toys like steve...."

Oh, I've been there. It's a very fun store, packed with nostalgia mainly from the 70s and 80s. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in the area.
I'm also on the lookout for a Holly Hobby!
