Curses. The nearest Starbucks to my office is just NOT close enough to make it by noon. Not that I need any more coffee but who can pass up a free cup of the Brown Brew?

re: Free Joe

Awwwww, forget work! We are talking free coffee here!

I get all of that at work. It's not the best but I'm also not the biggest Starbucks fan.

ETA: I am on cup four. That's one from home (bless you, Senseo) and three here at work. And I'm only been here three hours. That's a god-awful hour-to-cup ratio.

BWS, how is the Senseo? We are going to try a similiar machine here at the office. It might save on wasted pots and also on stale coffee. I am on cup three.

At first I thought this was a plea to get a man named Joe out of prison.

Hmm. Methinks it's time for a run to the Mud Truck.

re: Free Joe

I can't stand Starbucks. At home, since I waste so much coffee using a regular coffee maker for just myself, I switched to a Tassimo with Gevalia coffee and it is sublime. The Suchar's hot chocolate is also yummy.

I love Gevalia coffee Matt.
Especially the chocolate raspberry flavor.

re: Free Joe

Lwyr, I have worked at companies with similar machines (the k-pod ones are fairly popular here in the city). While some people complain because there's not really any room to adjust the coffee amount, I love my Senseo.
The pod phenomenon is abundant enough that even Maxwell House (which owns Gevalia, go figure!) and Folgers even have pods out.
That said, I prefer the more gourmet offerings but Folgers and MH do in a pinch.
Go for it. I think you guys will like it.
Keurig's brewing machine has coffees from Green Mountain, which I really like.

re: Free Joe

Thanks BWS - I will give you an update when the machine arrives.
