I bring the light and fluffy news of the day- today is the annual Ben & Jerry's "Free Cone Day," free ice cream from 12noon to 8pm today.

Awesome! I think they do this every April, right? I may have to stop by the mall after work for a treat.

Damn, I am not anywhere close to a Ben and Jerry's, but I am considering making the trek just for the free ice cream (though I'd probably be spending that much in gasoline....)

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I just went there and there's a line around the corner and down the street. I decided not to wait.

The only person in line at my neighborhood Ben & Jerrys was Tyra Banks. I decided not to wait.

Yesterday in Boston Coldstone was giving out free quarts (marathon Monday). I don't like ice cream (I know, call me crazy) but I know a lot of people who took advantage of it. And then free Ben and Jerry's today. Ha.
