This summer, I'm working.
Filing medical records.
Yee-haw.

I'm also applying for interships in NYC way in advance so that I'm not stuck in this same job next summer.
Wish me luck.

Oh, and I'm looking for a monologue, a scene, and a one act play for next semester.
Ah, the joys of being a theatre major.

ooh fun! Last time I was there it was a few years ago in August. Man was it hot on the Mall (Like 112) but the museums were great!

Lots of music teaching so I can afford my theatre going obsession.
Off to Sag Harbor in a couple weeks to see "Auntie Mame" at the Bay Street Theatre. Any suggestions for "must sees and dos" on Long Island for a first timer???

My fiance and I have been invited to spend a week with friends in East Hampton at the end of July and then we are off to Europe for a few weeks. Two weeks in the Cote d'Azur and a week in Milan.

Cyndy I can take an extra trunk for you to stow away in but you would need to find a way back because it will be full when I'm done shopping in Europe.

Co-ed Wedding Shower in Providence, RI.
Fast ferry to Toronto, ON.
Renaissance Festival in Sterling, NY.

Lots of little local trips... nothing major.

I'm at camp until late August, and the director of the show there has given me an offer to help direct the show (it's a musical version of A Midsummer Night's Dream-go figure). Then, it's off to Cape Cod for a week before school starts (wow, I just got really depressed)

im at drama camp getting my first real taste of directing-ahh is so stressful-i have so much more respect for directors now. i ghad a lot of respect for them before, then i gained much more with my first experience stage managing. Now, i have soo much more. its insane!
but i also get to do tons of theater stuffa nd a show-im learning tons! :)
