Has anyone seen this before? It's an interesting bio/film essay.

I sorta remember when this first came out. Mary Beth Hurt is a fabulous actress.
At the time Seberg died, there was so much gossip, speculation, "horror" re her marriages, support of the Black Panthers, drug use, illegitimate baby that died, etc. I think the FBI fueled a lot of this stuff also. Her reputation as an actress at that time (1979?) was certainly tarnished badly. At least that's what was reported in the media, later on.
Does anyone know what the real story of her death really was??

Posted: 11/5/13 at 5:16pmI love Jean Seberg. I hate what was done to her. Tragic and so unnecessary.

The filmmaker Mark Rappaport, who also did Rock Hudson's Home Movies with a similar vibe, is, unfortunately, in a major dispute over the ownership of his films with film scholar Ray Carney.
