Remember fun?
Remember going to the movies and having fun with an action film?
Remember when everyone wasn't taking themselves so damned seriously and trying to out "intense" each other?
They just wanted fun. Thrilling, humorous fun?

Fast cuts, dumb dialogue, and characters who are both tough and funny is what people want.Everything has that digital look to it and the soundtrack ALWAYS has to be rock or trendy,even if it is a period piece.This film looks awful.Another VAN HELSING.Sad to say, it will probably be a blockbuster hit with several sequels.

How embarrassing! Saw this trailer the other day and had a very similar reaction. It looks so ridiculous in the way it's taking itself sooo seriously.

When I first read about the film a few months ago, I had assumed it'd be a comedy, a silly take-down of all those other "serious" fairy tale films that have come out.
But nope, its just another one.
