Just announced by Diane Sawyer, soccer star David Beckham is about to sign with an American soccer team.

$250m is the entire mls budget for the next 5 years.
c'mon, he's a laughingstock. he quit as captain of the british team after being embarrassed on the field and only managed to crack the starting lineup of real madrid five times since signing with them. he's like the male anna kournikova.

Calvin...it might get some ratings from figure skating but it'll never overtake bowling.
I guess this is like a last ditch effort to make soccer popular in the US, which will never happen.

Yeah I thought all the teams combined in the MLS didn't even make up $250 mill!
