I like to sing with a very warm and quiet tone sometimes, like Adam Pascal in "I Should Tell You", but people seem to think I'm straining or something. I mean everything can't be loud and boisterous. Soft and tender is nice. I love singing Jazz music myself. But it seems in every audition everything must be balls to the wall belting, no build-up or anything. I understand that theatre usually works that way, but it's rather irritating. How can you sell a song if you're busting a nut belting? *sigh*
I have a weird voice, one you really can't classify sometimes.
hopefully i can find my niche with this Singing Success program by Brett Manning.
I don't WANT to live in what they call "a certain way." In the first place I'd be no good at it and besides that I don't want to be identified with any one class of people. I want to live every whichway, among all kinds---and know them---and understand them---and love them---THAT's what I want! - Philip Barry (Holiday)
