I give my props to baritones. It's a hard life. And you usually have to sing the difficult/weird harmonies in the chorus.

Thank you! I do love being a baritone, but sometimes I just wish I was a tenor and could hit those money notes!
I will post in honor of bwaylvsong, my personal favorite BWW baritone. He's doing Ragtime as we speak (ish, it's prob done)!
I mean i'm so proud to be a baritone lol as pathetic as it is! I mean I love it because my range is really strong in the middle but if I need to I can sing really low or medium high so it's kind of nice! And it's fun in show choir too because we have 8 basses and if there's baritone notes 4 of us sing those! But it's hard lol

Aww, thanks, aspiringactress!
And GO BARITONES (and mezzos lol).
I love baritones. They're my favorite. mmmm. If I were male, I'd be a baritone.

Represent!
I get the best of both worlds.......a bari-tenor you could call me I guess????
But still....baritone in choirs, etc.
Now if only I looked like I should be a baritone...that might help a little in shows.

wooo baritones!! i'm baritone/bass, i agree about the money notes... sucks sometimes but what can ya do? i'm 6'3", so i guess at least my voice matches the bod.. holla!
I do have a little tenor envy sometimes, but I love being a baritone, especially when I get to sing really low--it makes me feel all manly

I know a lot of girls who prefer the baritone sound!
Plus, we do have money notes! They are just lower. Plus, I think we sound more impressive singing some of the lower-tenor range because it's more difficult and powerful.
AMEN!! The thing that's great for me and i'm sure many other baritones out there are that are money notes are right smack dab in the middle not to high not to low!
Well I can't belt a G, but I sure can be proud of my D belt!
My range is two octaves from G - G. Not too bad just wish i could get higher. On some days i can go a note or two above a G but with great difficulty.
my range right now is a low E or F to a high G but i've reached an A and B before.

My range is...
low E to high G (on a good day)
low G to high F (on a bad day)
GO BARITONES!
We get a bad rep occasionally I feel. because with some snobs there's no in-between. High notes are only meant for sopranos and tenors who are OVERRATED and if you're a baritone who's stuck in the middle, like myself, everyone thinks every time you open your mouth to sing a high note, you're "pushing" it.
my range - Low E to high F (normally)
Low F to high G (REALLY good day)
of course, I'm more of an expressive rock/jazz/pop oriented singer, and I really don't have a classical/pure sounding voice.
I have more of a traditional broadwday mixed kind of belt. I can sing soft and tender but can also bust out some money notes. Jazz is another style that I love to sing though as well!!
