GOBLET OF FIRE!
I haven't been following any of the news about this, so I almost choked when I saw Ralph Fiennes' name on the cast list. Exciting!

That looks awesome, it looks just as I had imagined it reading the books
oh no, friggin Harry Potter comes out the same time RENT does?!? Whyyy??? ugh this bothers me to no end
Why does it bother you so?
ah it's silly, it's just I feel like RENT will deserve to be the top movie at the box office, but I know Harry Potter will take #1 as usual, and i'm just not a huge fan of the Harry Potter phenomenon. If Harry Potter could just be a month or so later, i'd feel better!
Just go see both EiR. Done and Done.
Popcultureboy; My assumption is that EiR is upset that the Harry jugernaught will steal all the attention away from the rent film, that's why I'd be worried. i'm excited about both though!
So looking forward to this.

Potter and RENT should be going after VERY different audiences.
they should, but I know I will be there opening night for both
exactly as Kel Rel, I'm there for both
But the problem is the hype of Potter may take away attention from Rent, and its still likely to need as much attention as it can get. It can only hurt Rent to open on the same day as Potter, while Potter will not be effected either way.
Exactly. RENT opens a week before GoF, so I can safely attend both opening nights. Dare I say, this one looks like it could be good. But it would be better if Steve Kloves left the franchise.

There was an ABC special on Saturday, They showed CoS with deleted scenes, and also had scenes and commentary from and about GoF. It showed more than that did. Oh well, I'm still excited!
I missed it

YEEHAW....I just finished the book a couple of months ago, and CAN'T WAIT!
I need to start re reading the books
Kel Rel, I just did a reread, but I'm thinking of another right before book six comes out. Is it bad that a 26 year old man loves Harry Potter so much?

Penguin - if it is, then this 42yo is REALLY pathetic!
My Quick Time screen is so small I can barely see it. How do you make it bigger?
Not at all! I wish my almost 26 year old hubby would read them. I think he would like them if he gave them a shot. He won't even go see the movies.
I was that way for a long time KelRel, but my wife finally convinced me to give them a chance and I loved it.
He reads those Dark Elves books by R.A. Salvatore but will not give Potter a chance..WTF? lol
