Annette Charles, who played racy dancer Cha Cha DiGregorio in "Grease," died on Wednesday at her home in Los Angeles from complications stemming from cancer. She was 63. A member of the Charles family told website TMZ: “Annette had recently started having difficulty breathing… and when she went to the doctor she learned that she had a cancerous tumour in one of her lungs.”

A good friend of mine took dance classes from her in L.A. He loved her and spoke very highly of her.
So sorry to hear this. I just watched Grease again recently when Jeff Conaway died. Annette really burned up the dance floor in Born to Handjive.
