Are Rob and Craig still permitting you to slander people on the board?

Some things never seem to change...
If Tom DeLay is The Hammer, then I proclaim a new title for the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi: The Briber. Nancy Pelosi had to bribe her members with spinach to get their votes.

ANYONE who thinks Bush or his administration is doing well has zero credibility as far as I am concerned and it looks like the majority of the American people. Bush is back at an all time low and will no doubt go down in history as being the worst President ever!

So, if HD wants to keep convincing himself Bush is smiling and we're doing great in Iraq and everything is just fine I say let him. He sure as hell ain't fooling anyone here. I use to know someone from Atlanta who claims the South won the war and will not hear any different. These people cater facts and view history to their way of thinking and they are Nucking Futs! You can not reason with them so just knod your head, agree with HD, and tell him in as a sarcastic tone as possible that he is right and let him have his little fantasy.

"ANYONE who thinks Bush or his administration is doing well has zero credibility as far as I am concerned and it looks like the majority of the American people. Bush is back at an all time low and will no doubt go down in history as being the worst President ever! "

Um.... since when did public opinion determine whether our president is doing well? I am not a Republican, but I can tell you George Bush has an incredible administration. It is even more apparent now with our Democratic majorities in the house and senate. They have done NOTHING and rubber stamped every agenda Bush has put forth.

We WILL go to war with Iran. (The Democrats have already green-lit it.) The war with Iraq WILL go on and remain until we privatize the oil (which most Democrats have failed to speak out about).

Democrats are in SERIOUS danger of losing this next election. Obama, Edwards and Clinton have a track record of supporting the two things that I have mentioned. Not to mention they are in a congress though gridlocked, does nothing.

People always say how amazing Clinton was,, yes I agree. But I will tell you this. Bush is better. Bush can take a sh!t on his own people and walk away smiling. People just eat it up. He can do nothing wrong and the people eat it up. What's worse than the people eating it up?

Well the media and congress support the president unconditionally. Everytime you hear Clinton, Obama, Edwards openly criticizing Bush look at their voting records. All three voted to privatize the Iraqi oil, continue the war and push forward with Iran.

Bush is king. Maybe it is you who should break free from the fantasy not HD. Never underestimate the power of the worst president ever. The war may be a disaster, but he still gets his oil. Who cares about credibility when you are at the top of your game? He STILL gets the OIL. He is the winner.

I Strongly disagree.

To say Bush is better than Clinton? I don't even know where to begin. Bush has an incredible administration? Isn't it funny how Bush and his cartel got away with so much until the Democrats won the house and senate. It was only then that ALL THE CRAP the GOP was getting away with was finally addressed to the American People. Bush has the most corrupt administration in history, so you will have to 'pardon me' for disagreeing with your statement that he has an 'incredible administration.

Don't get me wrong, I am disgusted with the Democrats as well but I feel they have a far better chance at wining in 2008 than the Republicans....(unless they rig another election)

I do agree about us going to war with Iran. Its just what Bush does. He likes his wars. He likes to show the world "who's in charge'.

I do not think the people are taking the sh!t you seem to think. His numbers are way down and a majority feel Bush not only mislead us into war but is making mistakes daily and is mis-handling the war. Hardly someone as clever as you could possibly think that the majority is wrong about this. His negative approval as a leader speaks volumes. Do you honestly not see that? Where exactly are you getting your news?

I also believe Bush has the media on his side still. I don't get it but he has.I also stand by what I said. MJHF, I think your in the same boat with HD. I do however respect your opinion, even though I stronglt disagree with just about everything you have said. I have enjoyed and agreed other things you have said on other posts, but not this one!No way, no how!

Romantico,

I didn't understand the part of your statement I put in bold letters. Did you mean the majority of Americans think Bush is doing a good job?

No, I went back and reworded that because it was confusing. I feel the majority of Americans think Bush is doing a bad job. I'm not just going on polls but public opinion in general. I lost count of all the scandals this administration has had.

Oye, I'm not in the same boat with HD. I'm just not a blind Democrat.

Bush does not start wars because "He likes to show the world "who's in charge." He starts wars for resources. The wars in Iraq and soon to be Iran are for OIL. War = Money = Resources = Money

Bush/Rove are already working on strategies to make a win. This appointment of a homophobe attorney general is just the beginning. Democrats have done nothing to fix the broken voting system in this country (after two stolen elections).

Did you know public approval for congress is down? I just can't sit back here and read time and time again that Democrats are somehow superior. It is just not the case.

I know Republicans are wrong. I fully understand that. The problem I have is how the Democrats follow blindly along. I know it is picking the lesser of two evils, but why oh why do the Democrats have to be so pathetic? Why do they fail us?

Clinton, Obama and Edwards are all liars. How can any Democrat support these warmongers? Unless they just don't care about going to war with Iran, or that Iraq was an oil war.

I'm baffled.

We are not crumbs! We should not accept crumbs! We must not accept crumbs! There is not one single candidate running for public office anywhere that deserves our support. Not one. Every day they vote against us in increasingly brutal fashion. I will not vote for a one of them and neither should you.

First off, I think Bush is luckier than Clinton But NOT smarter. Bush a C student at a School his family put him in vs. a Rhodes Scholar. Its just an insane comment. Had to get that off my chest.

Yes, I know the Congress's approval is down as well and I am a Democrat but not a blind one. I have the same concerns you have and sometimes SCREAM at the stuff they pull and let the GOP get away with. But at the end of the day considering the person I am I know I am on the right side and support the Democrats 100%. I don't always agree and yes, I do get pissed.

"Clinton, Obama and Edwards are all liars. How can any Democrat support these warmongers? Unless they just don't care about going to war with Iran, or that Iraq was an oil war."

And the GOP all have honest Men running? Show me a honest politican. Is there even such a thing? Obama did not vote for the war in Iraq and Ewards is the only Democrat I know of who has publicly appologized for his error.

Your post sounded very favorable towards the GOP and I now see its out of frusteration. Just out of curiosity, who would you like to see run for President? Not who you think will win, but who would you think would make a good candidate. After reading your post on this subject, I am really curious to hear your thoughts. Anyway, good debate and its all good!

Um well... since when is expecting honesty a bad thing? Two wrongs don't make it right.

Obama did however back a recent war spending bill (that was vetoed by Bush). That spending bill killed an Iran War Provision that would have stopped a potential war. It also had benchmarks set for the Iraqi Oil. He supported this bill and voted for it. He even said the war was a signature away from ending. He knew full well that it would not pass. He also knew the revised bill would pass as he voted nay to it. He is playing politics and not being honest. That is why Edwards cornered him in the last debate. That is not honest and it is not right.

Obama would have voted for the war. I have no doubt.

Um I would like to see Al Gore, Michael Bloomberg, maybe Feingold or Kuccinich. None of them are perfect, but I think the "more of the same" crap in this country would end. I think Edwards, Obama and Clinton need to come clean.

I never said Bush was an intelligent person. Anyone with cash can get into Yale or Harvard. He is however in the company of very wise and determined people. This man is getting away with murder. Right before our eyes.

Even with all these "scandals" watch how the Iraq war thrives and Iran comes into focus. Watch how New Orleans is still in shambles. While Democrats fret over attorney scandels and "immigration."

Watch that tail wag the dog.

I give the American people more credit than that. I think they are looking for the most honest candidate but I am certain they think the whole bunch of them are crooked. Politicans make decissions that are oftem politically motivated. At times, right or wrong don't come into play. I know thats not right, but have just come to expect that from our leaders.

You might be right. Obama may have voted for the war, but we will never know for sure. I think Obabma will fade soon. I would like to Al Gore step in. If he doesn;t I thik Clinton would be the best choice. The most honest? NO, I said the best choice. Her experience and her husband is a major plus. For this reason I think Al Gore would be great as well. His expience i the White House would be a major plus! Besides, what better way to piss off the Islamic extremist than putting a woman in the White House? (LOL)

I like how you demand for honest politicans and how you ask for them to come clean, but I think your asking too much. They are all the same at this point. You need to ask yourself, "Okay, which out of all of them acts LEAST like a politican?"

You know the way these politicians are behaving it makes you wonder what would happen if we were attacked again? Forget flag burnings and make way for our constitution.
