The Criterion Collection has just released this awesome, low-key British thriller from 1946.

Clocking in at only 91 minutes you will be gripped from the opening of this murder mystery starring the invincible Alastair Sim, Trevor Howard, and Megs Jenkins.

Did the local postman die on the operating table as an accident or was it murder? And can the hospital the Nazi air raids?

If you like Hitchcock, you will love this film.
