I love me some Pam Spaulding. Check out this lovely story of what happens when a paper in Texas publishes an article about gay marriage from (GASP!) the perspective of the ACTUAL People involved.
You know, them queers, the ones trying to convert your babies.

I used to work for the Galveston Daily News' sister paper. Oddly enough, when I wrote a story about a lesbian adoption, I got exactly one nasty phone call.

Dolph Tillotson is a class act, though.

Well, the main street on the island is called Broadway and we all know what that means.

He was great on "Gimme a Break"

They have the right to publish what they want in their paper. No one says that they have to cater to EVERYONE.

I personally enjoyed the seemingly-sarcastic letter to the editor, published in the Pam's House Blend link I posted, admonishing the paper and showing them how to appropriately write about gay marriages. It was very tongue-in-cheek or else the most clueless and unintentionally hysterical piece of bigotry ever written.

doodle, I don't know how I missed your post yesterday, but I'm dying over here.

On another threadjacking note, now I can't hear anything but Glen Campbell in my head.
