A Beautiful Movie. Wonderfully written and magnificently poignant. And so freakin' hysterical!

I am in LOVE with Natalie Portman. She is a brilliant actress and completely gorgeous. She gives an award-worthy performance.

And I was delighted to see Jackie Hoffman have a hillarious cameo.

By far one the best, if not THE best, movies I've seen this year.

See it now.

omigod. The song she sings at the funeral had me cackling. I'm sure I annoyed the crazy lady behind me.
That movie was really excellent. It will be long forgotten by award time but, I agree, Natalie Portman gave an amazingly new breakthrough performance for her...she might actually live up to all the promise she was heralded for in the beginning.
And I loves me some Zachy Braff!

Portman's character is one of the finest female characters I have seen in a long time.

And the scene in the 'cemetery' where they are burying the hamster. Superbly written and flawlessly acted.

Does anyone else want to thank the Weinsteins for their unfailing devotion to good films, even if they won't do well at the box office?

Even though they campaign way too much for Oscars, they have a love for film that gives us movies like this.

Portman is constistantly good in her film roles. Just look at last year's COLD MOUNTAIN. Her part was very small, a cameo you might even say, but it was so impressive that I was expecting her to get (and was very upset when she didn't get) an Academy Award Nomination.

Natalie Portman is outrageously brilliant in her role.

Although I didn't leave completely happy with it's ending I had a bunch of laughs and a good time throughout the majority of it.

The hamster burial was the most well thought out scene I've seen in a very long time and was done marvelously.

It was an amazing film, he's got a real keen sense of irony, comedy and pathos. Look for more good things out of ZB.

He was great in THE BROKEN HEART'S CLUB. I KNOW y'all saw that one!

It's a shame this is only in limited release.

Wanna see it. I like Zach Braff (I think thats his name) on Scrubs.

I think the movie is slowly spreading, SticktoPriest. I had to go a bit of a distance to see it, but it was worth the trip. The end was a little too speechy- Braff should have done more showing and less telling- but the movie as a whole was lovely.

I especially liked the series of small ways that Braff showed his character's adjustment from complete numbness to being engaged by his surroundings. And Peter Sarsgaard was just all-around great, my favorite actor of the bunch.

Anyone else spot George C. Wolfe in there? So cool. :)

It's opening wide this week, because many summer flops are being yanked from theaters.

I felt the movie was superb, but the talk with Braff's character and his father was when the movie went down slightly and became, as you said, to much telling.

But the more I think about this movie, the more I love it.

I found so many of the scenes to be amazingly philosophical without being pretentious.

This movie is playing nowhere near me. It is just not fair.

I just saw it last night. Incredible movie. Absolutely, the best I have seen in a long time. I have so much respect for Natalie and Zach. Natalie needs to get her butt back to Broadway very soon.

Sam is one of the best movie characters I have ever seen. I want to be her.
