lights (my dad puts them on), garland (my mom puts that on), and ornaments (I put them on) all on a big faux tree. Its a tradition in our house to have a gold tree (with white lights and gold ornaments) one year then a red tree (colored lights with any other kind of ornament thats not gold) we alternate them.

Garland? As in Judy Garland??? LOL--i have a bunch of things on my christimas tree-since i celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah- on top of the tree theres a jewish star! we have a lot of little ornaments and stuff too-and tinsel!! LOTS!!!and lights!!!

A few years back, I went with this guy to his brothers house for Christmas. They had no ornaments on their tree, but after dinner they lit candles and pput them on the tree while we all held hand and sang Christmas carols. It was very beautiful, albeit dangerous.
