Gaspar Noe's new film is coming

Yes, that was a double entendre in the title.

Perhaps the most divisive filmmaker working today, you don't enjoy a Noe film, you endure it.

I have never seen one of his films that didn't make me feel like I needed a shower afterwards.

But then something weird happens. I invariably start to question why I was so disturbed, repulsed, and in some cases turned on.*

But I can never just dismiss one of his films.

I end up being haunted by his work. Once the visceral reaction wears off I find so much to consider and discuss. I've spent hours debating his films with my film-geek friends.

*just to be 1000% clear, nothing in Irreversible made me feel excited. Especially that scene.
