That bitch's post of Gil-Scott Heron in her blog. I have no words.

But I do have an explanation why she continues to talk about gay fashion designers:
"Well, at some level, their work is (or was) very good, great even. But something strange takes over, as time goes on. All those designers who publicly lived and displayed their homosexuality produced inferior work over time. Homosexuality may be a problem we have to fight, but, it often takes care of its own for us. Still, the fight is necessary, and probably inevitable on our part."

I need to rest my head.

Please tell me that comment about the problem of homosexuality takes care of its own isn't somce circa 80s AIDS comment. This is too much, that I appreciate that she seems to approve of gay people who stay in the closet (or aren't too loud, though I don't know how many designers fit that category). She would be a blast to go to fashion week with though!

Given that she linked a New Yorker article in that same post and went out of her way to speculate Gil Scott-Heron died of AIDS, yep this lady is stuck in the 80s. Her Angela Davis post left me even more scattered brain.
