Posted: 1/31/05 at 6:58pmProbably Patti. In the episode that started out with a gay pride parade, they were singing that song that went, "We're gay! We're glad! But don't tell mom and dad!" and when it came to "but don't tell mom and dad" two people sang it from inside of closets, one voice was Smithers, but the other was undeniably Patti.

I've heard Patty too, but I am hoping it is Lenny and Carl...it would work too, because there was an episode where one of them has pictures in his wallet of the other, and also the episode where Lisa fights to turn off city lights to see the stars, Lenny sees Carl's face in the stars. I think there's something there.....plus that has so much comic potential at Moe's.

Have you seen the ads for this episode this week? Marge explains that when two people love each other that she doesn't care if they both have a Hoo-Hoo or a Haa-haa and Nelson bursts in to say HA-HA!
I love how this show continues to explore the the depths of their characters. On any other show, I'd expect a surprise gay wedding to be completely randon, but I suspect that on this show, when we know who it is, we'll remember years of subtle dropped hints.
