In all seriousness, won't it be interesting to see how the NY watering holes/gay saloon scene support the convention week? I'm hoping they have a Laura Bush (or Condi Rice) lookalike drag show. Varla Jean Merman as one of the graduating twins would pull me in (time to ressurect those SIDE SHOW songs, with new words for The First Daughters, no?) I think all bars oughta have a special, two for one if you have a flag pin on your fly. I think the East Side piano boite for gents d'un age certain,The Townhouse, will have a double line outside to get in.
