ABC deserves an extra-special award this year for taking a show that was a ratings champ and critical darling all the way to cancellation in record time.
Any thoughts?

Posted: 5/3/06 at 2:41pmIn my opinion, this was one of the best shows this season. I think that all of the actors did a superb job. Perhaps the American public is still not ready for a female president.

Posted: 5/3/06 at 2:44pmI thought Geena Davis was excellent, and I tried very early on to get into this show, but it never happened for me.

This show was no West Wing. Just could not get into it. Maybe this will bring bigger and better things for Ms. Davis.
RIP West Wing, and Commander-in-Chief

Posted: 5/3/06 at 2:45pmi think that's the point the repugs would like to make -- however -- does the success of 24 mean that america is ready for an african american president? i think that it had more to do with poor planning and non-support from the network. ABC is not my favorite commercial enterprise -- as they are owned by disney.

Posted: 5/3/06 at 2:53pmno, the success of 24 has more to do with the majority of americans' willingness and, in fact, desire to torture and maim terrorists and those who assist them. that and they just can't get enough of keifer's whisper it once and then scream it delivery of every single effin' line. do you understand? do you understand?

I thought that this was a bad West Wing rip off. However Geena Davis and Donlad Sutherland were great in their roles.
