Get Smart with Don Adams

did anyone used to watch this show? i of course wasnt born yet when it aired, but i used to watch the reruns on TV land a few years ago. but it stopped airing! you think theres any chance theyll release it on DVD now that don adams died? i hope they do b/c i loved the show.

for those of you who dont know what it was about, think of james bond. then think the exact opposite, and that was his character maxwell smart (aka agent 86.) hes a bumbling secret agent with so many gadgets, my fav being his shoe phone (a rotary phone with a mouthpiece concealed in the bottom of his shoe). its actually like the movie johnny english. the show was really funny and entertaining!

I grew-up with this show.....him, Agent 99, Chief.......wonderful show.

Get Smart was an unreal show. I have a bunch on an old vhs tape, i used to watch it religiously. I never knew that Don Adams was the voice of Inspector Gadget. I always thought he sounded familiar but i never ever put two and two together!

I loved this show. I literally cried when it was taken off the air. I have this little teady bear that's dressed as agent 99 and when you squeeze his belly it playes the theme song.

I loved this show and watched the re-runs on Nick at Nite religiously. I hope the DVD's do come out soon, Don Adams (RIP) and Barbara Feldon were great together.

I read somewhere that Steve Carrell has signed on to do a big-screen version next year, so maybe they’ll finally release a DVD set to tie-in with the movie.

i was browsing the internet, and i dont think steve carrel will have any time to do the movie. i think it said that the earliest he could film is srping 2007 if the office stays successful (which i hope it does.) but then i saw that HBO will be releasing the DVDs of the show in 2006!! that made me happy. ill find the link and post it in.
