Hey Marc, I tore my miniscus in high school at the final dress of Into The Woods...was one of the most painful events of my life. no fun at all...really sorry to hear! keep it up, lots of ice!

I am happy to report I just looked at the paperwork, and it is spelled mEniscus, not mIniscus, so my ego is back in manly order

My high school production of Into The Woods was far less painful than recent High School Productions of THE LIFE and CARNIVAL I've recently seen...but still non quite as painful as my torn mEniscus.

I'm afraid I've blocked out most of it, but the sheer combination of spandex, vinyl, braces and acne was enough to cause nightmares even 3 years later.

Not to mention the horrible visions in my head with the lyrics "When I say get on the stick, better do it Nestle's Quik." I don't think that line was intended to warrant a Nestle Quik milk carton prop.

When was the last time you saw a 16 year old girl with an undeveloped chest strutting around onstage in 8" pumps, a boa, a piece of floss covering her nether regions and about as much pitch as Florence Foster Jenkins on a good day?
