In case any of you have had trouble coming up with a last minute gift might I suggest the amazing and beautiful 2006 BC/EFA Snow Globe? All proceeds go directly to BC/EFA...no middle man this year!

Sammy if the Corner is closed for remodeling, how are people supposed to get their globes in time for Christmas?
I suggest you all just go to the BC/EFA site I linked and skip the Corner entirely.

Sammy, if that is the case why don't you go and update some of those ads for shows that happened WEEKS ago?
RobbO, I have no idea what you are talking about. As usual. But don't be discouraged, I am sure there is some charity that will take your donation.

Posted: 12/20/06 at 3:32pmWhile it is a FANTASTIC cause, the snowglobes are not very cute this year. Looks like it is surrounded by little tombstones. But if you DO buy it, do it WITHOUT any middle man. Why should someone else cut into a charity's profits? Pretty sick.

I opened up the link and groaned. The snowglobes are absolutely hideous this year. I also saw tombstones.
And why would you ever buy from the corner when you can purchase straight from BC/EFA?

Add me to the crowd who thought very colorful tombstones.
Sueleen--Robbo is talking about the Project (RED) thread and FictionWriter's quest for a red iPod nano.
"Shut up! It's been 29 years!!!" --the incomparable Patti LuPone in her MUCH DESERVED Tony acceptance speech for Gypsy.

This year's globe is perfection -- CoCo sitting shiva for the death of her profits and her corner.

FYI-
Buy your snowglobe directly from Broadwaycares. It is a charity I believe in and that is why I promote them with a free ad on my site. PS I have given much more to them than I have made as an affliate of NYCWEBSTORE. You people need to get a life.
